We will introduce you to our TAG 2.0 Wealth Associates, our pool of qualified next-generation professionals from which you can choose your own successor. After you have gotten to know them all to determine who would be the best fit for you and your clients, you can help train and mentor them to work with your clients in the manner they have come to expect from you. You have the opportunity to impart your knowledge and wisdom to the next generation of financial advisors or let TAG do it for you. TAG will always manage your client relationships according to what’s in the client’s best interest.

Formulate Your Own Custom Transition Process

    1. Sell your book to The Trust Advisory Group, continue to manage your accounts as before, and put in place a Business Continuity Plan.
    2. Choose your timeline for fully migrating your accounts (typically 1-3 years).
    3. Choose your successor from our TAG Wealth Associates and help mentor them to transition your clients.
    4. Choose your desired level of engagement during the transition.
    5. Improve the client experience with a dedicated TAG TEAM during the transition.
    6. Reach the next generation of clients with TAG 2.0.

Business Continuity

As part of the first step, we will put in place the TAG Business Continuity Plan.

Not only would the SEC and state regulators be happy to know there’s a plan in place (more than a dozen states have already adopted the NASAA’s Model Rule or similar rules), your clients deserve to know what would happen to their assets if the unthinkable were to happen to you, their trusted advisor. You’ve worked too hard for them to simply leave them in the lurch if you get hit by the proverbial bus.

And, if your business is part of your legacy to your family and loved ones, an abrupt and uncertain end could have a severe financial impact on their future.

For a nominal annual fee (waived if you join AGES Brokerage), your family’s largest asset is protected. All we ask is that you fill in all Plan details, including passwords and file locations, and commit to updating the details every time they change.
